Biography

Angela Hart has had numerous experiences that have paved the path for her as a therapist.  After graduation from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, she worked for five years in the music industry as a publicist for various record labels and independent public relations companies.  Transitioning into a new career, Angela took a yearlong sabbatical in England, where she lived at L’Abri, a study center for the arts as well as a venue for respite, reflection and self-analysis.  Since then Angela has received her Masters of Arts in Counseling at Mars Hill Graduate School in Seattle, Washington, where she studied under the auspices of Dr. Dan Allender, renowned author, speaker and psychotherapist.  Angela is currently a psychotherapist in private practice, specializing in relational issues, trauma, abuse, anxiety, disordered eating and adolescents.  She is certified in EMDR and works with the Enneagram when applicable, in therapy.  She is a member of NPI (Nashville Psychotherapy Institute), and resided as a board member and chair member for three years.
