I’m an avid reader, both fiction and non-fiction.  I went to create lists of some of my favorite topical books, but when I started to research, I found lists already out there, stellar lists and descriptions of some of my favorite books, along with books on my “to read” list. I have chosen my favorite ones to share with you.

Learning through books can be a great companion to therapy.  I call it the “double punch” when you find yourself exploring an idea or circumstance from your own narrative that is further iterated in your reading material.  Listed here are a few of my reference points for therapy (and life!).

Personal growth

Spiritual/mindfulness

Trauma/abuse

Death and dying

Marriage and relationship

Singleness and dating

Parenting books
